Description
I used to volunteer to look after a friends Cerebral Palsy child on and on and off basis of 1-2 times per week. From that I developed the love for care and then I applied for jobs and I have worked with various people who have, Dementia, Alzheimer's, confusion etc.
My current client is an elderly who I have been working with for the past 3 years. And in her own home we help her get showered and dressed and be able to help with basic things in the day. In this respectful way I learnt to maintain her dignity throughout, and to carry out personal centred care. I also volunteer on Saturdays and sometimes have children with learning difficulties.
I am very passionate with what I do and I thoroughly enjoy working with all sorts of people.
